Speaker Spotlight - Grace Anello

We are excited to welcome Grace Anello to this year’s Rocket City Weather Festival as part of our Careers in Meteorology Panel. Grace is the Morning Meteorologist at WAAY 31 News and has been a Huntsville resident for the past three years. After being our keynote speaker last year, Grace returns to share her valuable experience as a broadcast meteorologist and provide insights into the exciting world of TV meteorology.

Grace chose broadcast meteorology because it beautifully blends her love of thermodynamics, calculus, and physics with the dynamic and engaging world of television. Beyond forecasting the weather, Grace is deeply involved in the community, having rappelled off the Regions Building twice for the Kids to Love charity and emceed numerous events for local organizations. She is also the Meteorologist for the Rocket City Trash Pandas, the host of the Grace's Girls' Club segment celebrating women in STEM, and a passionate advocate for the WAAY 31 StormTracker School Safety Program.

Grace’s journey as a meteorologist is an inspiring example of the diverse opportunities that exist within the field, and we’re thrilled to have her share her experiences with attendees. Her insights, combined with the expertise of other distinguished panelists, will offer an invaluable opportunity for those looking to explore a career in meteorology.
